Diversity & Outreach Columns Blog Archive
From 2001 through 2016, the ALA Office for Literacy and Outreach Services (OLOS) operated the Diversity & Outreach Columns Blog, formerly known as the OLOS Columns Blog. The Columns Blog highlighted library outreach services, including support for adult new- and non-readers; gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people; incarcerated people and ex-offenders; older adults; people of color; people with disabilities; people experiencing poverty and homelessness; rural, native, and tribal libraries of all kinds; and bookmobile communities.
All stories are available on the archived Diversity & Outreach Columns website (www.olos.ala.org/columns).
