Committees
The ongoing work of the round table shall be carried out by its standing committees. The executive board may create or dissolve standing committees. Dissolution of a standing committee requires a two-thirds majority vote in two consecutive fiscal years. Standing committee chairs shall serve one-year terms, and will be appointed by the chair-elect. Standing committee chairs may not serve more than two consecutive terms. (RRT Bylaws, IV. Committees)
Volunteer to serve on a committee with our volunteer form. Committee service requires membership in the Rainbow Round Table and the American Library Association.
Committee reports are submitted to the executive board before Annual Conferences. Each committee posts their reports in their ALA Connect spaces. Those reports appear on each committee page listed below.
