Partial Results from Schools and Staffing Survey 1999-2000

Note: In academic year 1999-2000 the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) conducted sample surveys of elementary and secondary schools under the collective title of “Schools and Staffing Survey (SASS)”. A questionnaire on School Library Media Centers was part of the set (
http://nces.ed.gov/surveys/SASS/question9900.asp). A full report of those results is expected in June 2003. Meanwhile, preliminary results are available as follows:
